"Failure is the opportunity to begin more intelligently."
-Henry Ford
This is a great quote I came across in my Sports Psychology notes that reminds me to stay positive, be confident, and look at failure as a neccessary part of success. It is a stepping stone to success. If a person never takes risks because they fear they might fail, they are forgetting that without trying, you can't succeed either. It's just like my basketball coach always tells me, "If you don't shoot, you can't score" and also, "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." Without making mistakes, a person can never find the correct or best way to do anything. No one ever gets anything perfect on the first try, but by knowing how to fix their mistake they can begin more intelligently and improve consistently the next few times they try something.
